Arts students from Harrow College will be showcasing their retail skills for a good cause at a shopping centre in Harrow.

St Anns Shopping Centre will host the one-day Winter Art and Craft fair on Thursday 12 December from 11am - 4pm. All profits made on the day will go towards the Philippines Typhoon Appeal.

Students will be selling items they have produced throughout the academic year, including photographs and prints, lamps, bags, scarfs, ceramics, cacti, Christmas decorations and other arts and crafts. They will also be offering a gift wrapping service.

The fair will give students a chance to utilise their entrepreneurial skills while helping the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Jeff Jackson, centre manager at St Anns said he was delighted to welcome Harrow College to the shopping centre for the one-day event: “[The fair] offers students invaluable experience in retail. It’s also a great platform to showcase what they do, not only to the public but to prospective students too.”
