Students from Istituto Omnicomprensivo di Scigliano-Bianchi in Calabria, Italy attended an Intensive English language course at Harrow College for four weeks.

Part funded by the National operative programme (PON) scheme, the course prepared the students for Trinity College's Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) exam.

claudiaClaudia Rossi spoke about her experience at Harrow College: "I was very happy staying here at Harrow College. The lessons prepared by Patsy and Rosie were great! I have to say, we were a very noisy class but the teachers were always patient with us and understood our characters. The whole organisation in the college was great: very comfortable classes, lovely buildings and everyone was welcoming and nice to us. The only thing I did not like was the coffee! Coffee in England is not the same as in Italy!"

All students were happy to have completed the course, with good provisional results from Trinity's GESE exams.

pasqualePasquale Calfa said "Today is our last day and I am sad to leave as I have had a great time in the College. Thank you to everyone who organised our stay in London. I would also like to especially thank our teachers Patsy Reese and Rose Freeman as they were so good to us. Their lessons were fantastic and I have learnt a lot."
