Who is this course for?
If you are currently out of work and looking for a new opportunity, this could be for you. This course is designed for those who have an interest or want to work in the care industry however are unsure as to what specific age group they would like to work with. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and boost your career prospects.
Course dates:
Tuesday 10 January 2017 – Friday 3 February 2017 (12 days of study over 4 weeks)
Day / times:
Tuesday & Thursday 9.30 - 3.15pm and Friday, 9.30 – 4pm
Areas Covered:
• Understand the Range of Service Provision and Roles within Health and Social Care (Adults and Children and Young People), Early Years and Childcare
• Understand the Principles and Values in Health and Social Care (Adults and Children and Young People), Early Years and Childcare
• Awareness of Protection and Safeguarding in Health and Social Care (Adults and Children and Young People), Early Years and Childcare
• Introduction to Communication in Health and Social Care (Adults and Children and Young People), Early Years and Childcare
Eligibility Requirements:
• Aged 19+
• 3 years resident in the UK/EU/EEA
• Currently receiving benefits JSA/Universal Credit
• Able to provide a passport or birth certificate/travel documents
